Resources

Books, videos, apps, and communities worth starting with.

Curated collections

Pick the one collection that matches where you are right now. You do not have to work through all of them.

Mentor resources

If you are helping someone new, this is where to point them and what to teach first.

How to choose a resource

Who made it? Look for a named author, teacher, publisher, masjid, school, or organization.

Is it beginner friendly? Good material explains its terms and never makes you feel stupid for asking.

Does it separate source, opinion, and local custom? Be careful with anything that presents all three as equally required.

Does it pressure you or cut you off from people? Good teaching makes it easier to go and ask someone qualified.

Is the question personal or sensitive? Take details of worship, family, money, health, safety, and anything legal to someone qualified.

Resource warnings

Skip anonymous fatwa screenshots, quote images, and copied PDFs with no clear source.

Do not make debate channels your main way of learning, especially in your first few months.

Walk away from anything that shames beginners, rushes you into big life decisions, or discourages a second opinion from someone qualified.
