A one-way channel for reminders, new pages on the site and events. Only admins post, and other followers cannot see your phone number.

Small groups by city or region where you can ask questions and meet people. Admins approve every new member.
Groups will be listed here once admins are in place.
What each option shows about you
- Channel
- Your phone number stays private. An admin can see it only if they already have you saved as a contact. Only you can see which channels you follow, and followers cannot message each other there.
- Group
- Admins see your number, and other members may see it too. Anyone in the group can message you.
- Community
- A community is a set of linked groups. Your number is visible to its admins and to people who already have it, rather than to every member.
WhatsApp is slowly rolling out usernames, which hide your number from people who do not already have it. You may not have them yet.
If you are keeping your conversion private
Follow the channel rather than joining a group, because the channel keeps your number hidden. Group names and messages can show up in your notifications, so think about who can see your phone before you join anything.
Group rules
Everyone who joins agrees to these. Admins remove anyone who breaks them.
- No asking for money, selling or fundraising.
- No marriage proposals or matchmaking.
- No private messages to members who have not asked for them.
- No forwarding members' names, numbers, photos or messages outside the group.
- Nobody is added without choosing to join. We share the link and you decide.
Who the admins are
Admins are volunteers in a set role, not named individuals. They approve new members, remove and report scam accounts, and pass any safety concern to the coordinators.
Reporting a problem
If someone in a group or the channel asks you for money, proposes marriage, messages you privately without being asked, or shares your details, tell us. Reports go to the coordinators. You can also report and block the account inside WhatsApp.

In a community, your number is visible to community admins, people who saved it, and people who have it from other chats. Members can report, block and leave. Whether ordinary group members see each other's numbers was not quoted from an official page, so the site says they may.
