Asking for a seerah book
Assalamu alaykum. I'm new and I want to learn the Prophet's life in a calm, reliable way. Is there a beginner book, class, or teacher you'd recommend?

Rabi al-Awwal is when Muslims tend to talk more about the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. Keep it beginner-sized: learn his mercy, his character, what he was sent with, and the everyday Sunnah, from teachers you can rely on, and stay out of the fights.

- Who the Prophet was and why Muslims love him.

- How hadith and Sunnah connect to ordinary Muslim life.
A beginner path
Start with a short overview, then move to a structured class or book from a teacher you can rely on. You do not need to memorize dates. The message, the character, and the broad stages of Makkah and Madinah matter more at the start.
If the debates come up
Muslims differ over certain commemorations and gatherings. You do not have to take a side yet. You can say that you are focusing on learning the Prophet's life and that you ask qualified teachers about the details of practice.
One practical Sunnah this month
- Speak truthfully and gently.
- Keep one promise you made.
- Send blessings on the Prophet, using a wording you have actually been taught.
- Show mercy to someone who is new, tired, or misunderstood.
